We are looking for a Business Analyst to translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Trenton, NJ.


What You'll Do

  • Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions that align with organizational goals

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Stakeholders

  • Translate business requirements into clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Facilitate meetings such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including experience participating in sprint ceremonies and working with Product Owners

  • Comfortable with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance

  • Experience creating functional specifications, process flows, wireframes, and documentation

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Should have worked with Jira

  • Prior experience with BRDs and Flow Diagrams

  • Should be proficient in working with AI

  • Must have lead skills mentoring other team members (2-3 years)

  • Must have the background where the individual can function independently (no group work)

  • Must be a self-driver

Preferred:

  • Worked as BA to implement Cloud/Salesforce systems and/or Azure AWS

  • QA experience

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
