As a Business Analyst within our Global Employer Services (GES) team, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that drive product development and deliver measurable business value.

You will be accountable for gathering stakeholder input, analyzing business requirements, and ensuring alignment across teams to deliver solutions that meet organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and Translate Requirements: Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand business needs, pain points, and objectives. Translate this input into detailed, prioritized functional and non-functional requirements that guide development teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Analysis: Meet regularly with customers, client sales and delivery teams, business sponsors, and other relevant teams to understand current and future needs for the platform. Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
  • Requirements Documentation: Write clear, comprehensive requirements specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business case documentation. Ensure requirements are detailed, testable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement and Optimization: Work with colleagues and teams across various countries to analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Use Agile methodology to continuously enhance requirements gathering and validation processes.
  • Collaboration with Technical and Design Teams: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Designers, Architects, Engineering leaders, and other technical stakeholders. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and well understood.
  • Requirements Validation and Prioritization: Work with business sponsors and product leadership to validate requirements, prioritize initiatives based on business impact, and ensure alignment with strategic goals and long-term platform scalability.
  • Metrics and Success Criteria Definition: Define clear success metrics and acceptance criteria for requirements, including business outcomes, user adoption, and performance indicators. Track and report on requirement fulfillment and business value realization.
  • Backlog Management: Support the management of requirements backlogs from inception through validation with business sponsors, ensuring traceability and alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work with colleagues in various countries to understand multi-country deployment requirements and ensure solutions address diverse business contexts and regulatory considerations.
  • AI-Augmented Work Environment: All work in this role is conducted with, via, and leveraging AI-augmented capabilities. Proficiency in using AI tools and platforms to enhance analysis, documentation, and decision-making is essential. We expect team members to integrate AI assistance into their daily workflows to improve productivity, quality, and insights.


Let's talk about you:

  • Minimum 18 months of business analysis experience (in enterprise software, SaaS, or related environments)
  • Exposure to requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication - ability to convert business needs into detailed technical specifications
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and how business requirements translate into technical solutions
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, formula building)
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools or documentation platforms (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar) (nice-to-have)
  • Analytical mindset, comfortable breaking down complex business problems into manageable components
  • Attention to detail, meticulous in requirements documentation and data accuracy
  • Collaborative approach, works effectively with product managers and business stakeholders
  • Self-directed learner, proactive in asking questions and seeking clarification
  • Comfort with AI tools and platforms, ability to leverage AI assistants for analysis, documentation, and workflow optimization
  • Foundational understanding of tax and/or finance concepts is nice to have:
– Basic knowledge of tax compliance
– Ability to learn domain-specific terminology and processes
– Understanding of how regulatory or tax requirements impact software design
