We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to strengthen our Data & Analytics team! In this role, you are responsible for delivering BI reporting and dashboard solutions that meet the needs of the organization. You also will be acting as lead technical expert when it comes to BI technologies now and in the future in our team. Understanding the current generative AI technologies and how they change the field of BI is big advantage in the role.

As our Business Analyst, you will gather the business requirements from the stakeholders, translate the business requirements into technical requirements and develop the solution together with rest of the team. In this role, work tasks will range from developing new solutions from the scratch, rebuilding existing solutions and incremental development of solutions running in production.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Gathering the business requirements from the stakeholders and turning them into technical requirements for development
• Developing the management reports in Power BI and Databricks
• Providing data driven solutions to business challenges.
• Delivering periodical reports on time and accurately to make business impact with high complexity
• Following and enhancing BI standards and best practices across the team
• Implementing and communicating new dashboards, planning actions related to how to improve the technical solutions.

This role is based in Hyvinkää, Finland – but it goes without saying that hybrid work type is a part of our modern ways of working. Our facilities in Espoo are also additional location for the work. You will have the opportunity to work remotely 2-3 days/week.

Qualifications

What should you bring?

• Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in similar role
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Economics or Engineering)
• In-depth knowledge of Power BI, including Power Query and Data Modeling. You also have proven experience as a Power BI Developer and maintaining reports in production environment, with a strong portfolio of Power BI projects with Siebel and SAP data.
• Proven experience in SQL and other data manipulation languages. It is also beneficial to have familiarity with distributed computing and platforms such as Databricks.
• A sound understanding of ETL processes, Azure cloud services, data integration, and management forms is a vital part of the skill set.
• Project management expertise, particularly with Agile methodologies, is important, alongside a strong grasp of databases, semantic models, and Siebel architecture.
• Excellent proficiency in verbal and non-verbal communication skills in English

You will be successful in this role, if you have a flexible and creative approach to problem-solving, excellent quantitative capabilities, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Clear, influential communication and networking abilities are essential, as is a self-motivated working style - whether independently or as part of a small team. Analytical and critical thinking, a positive outlook, and a commitment to quality are key, as is the ability to learn quickly, take initiative, and adapt to changing circumstances. Technical strengths in problem-solving and performance optimisation, combined with experience in developing applications, reports, and dashboards, are highly valued.
