Join us as a Business Analyst within Barclays, where you will play a key role in delivering strategic change initiatives across payments and banking operations. You will support projects focused on areas such as payment automation, bank deposit process optimisation, and the transformation of core banking workflows helping to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career Business Analyst, including recent graduates to develop their skills within a dynamic and highly collaborative environment. The role will include gathering and analysing business requirements for banking and payments initiatives, supporting the delivery of change across multiple stakeholders and teams, and facilitating collaboration to ensure successful implementation of new processes and capabilities.
To be successful as a Business Analyst, you should have:
• Experience performing analysis within complex payments or financial services environments, defining requirements or user stories
• Ability to work effectively across teams, including business stakeholders, technology teams and third-party suppliers
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to present information clearly and confidently to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders
Some other highly valued skills may include:
• Experience supporting or delivering change within large regulatory programmes or highly governed environments
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous situations, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Familiarity with Scrum techniques, Agile delivery methodologies, and SAFe frameworks
