This role involves supporting a major healthcare organization in transitioning their legacy systems into modern, Medicaid-aligned solutions. The position requires a highly skilled communicator capable of translating complex business processes into clear, actionable technical requirements and working across multiple teams to ensure a smooth migration process.

for the Business Analyst:

Provide business and systems analysis in support of an IT modernization project focused on system migration and retirement.
Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, document, and validate requirements.
Develop business process flow diagrams, visuals, and detailed documentation for system replacement efforts.
Support impact and gap analysis to ensure all critical dependencies are identified and addressed.
Facilitate collaboration across business, application, data, reporting, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure project success.

Requirements for the Business Analyst:

8+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs.
8+ years of experience eliciting, documenting, validating, and managing business, functional, technical, data, reporting, and interface requirements.
8+ years of experience developing requirements traceability from business needs through design, testing, and implementation.
8+ years of experience conducting current and future state process analysis, gap analysis, and dependency analysis.
8+ years of experience supporting complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and risks.
