Essential Functions:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on MicroLumen’s ERP system.
- Act as a project resource and serve as an ERP consultant to other departments in support of their projects and initiatives, ensuring proposed solutions align with ERP system capabilities.
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for the IT team, which may include the creation of detailed user specification requirements.
- Provide training and technical support for MicroLumen’s ERP system and its adjacent systems.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including flow charts, models, procedures, user guides, scorecards, and reports (Crystal Reports) to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance and improvement of technology solutions, and internal IT processes.
- Work with IT management and other IT staff to develop, document and maintain IT processes and internal knowledgebase.
- Assist with daily inventory adjustment requests and with execution of year-end annual inventory counts.
- Provide input into cost estimations and project plans.
- Develop and document IT processes and procedures to comply with business, regulatory, or industry standards.
- Perform and complete work in accordance with established KPI’s, policies and procedures.
- Assist and provide input in IT compliance audits.
- Assist in QA and User Acceptance Testing of internal systems and software.
QualificationsEducation:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience is required.
- The following certifications are preferred: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory (CPIM) or additional related certifications.
Previous Work
Experience:
- Project management experience is preferred.
- Previous experience with process improvement and process development is preferred.
- Understanding of Management Information Systems and analysis concepts is preferred.
- Previous experience with ERP systems is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time or more.
- Must be able to operate a computer 50% of the time or more.
