Job Description

Business Analyst – Campaign Measurement & Marketing Technology

Location: Pune / Bangalore / Hybrid
Experience: 6–12 years
Reporting to: Senior Manager / Vice President

Role

As a Business Analyst within dentsu Global Services, you will act as a bridge between engineering teams and product owners (clients). The role focuses on campaign measurement, data integration, and platform automation, with a strong emphasis on API analysis (e.g. Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API), campaign measurement, product feed optimization to enable AI powered, scalable, data-driven decision‑making for global clients.

Core Skills & Competencies

Digital Marketing & Measurement

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing platforms
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Paid media metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, conversion value)
    • Funnel-based and outcome-driven measurement
    • Attribution models (last click, data-driven, MTA)
  • Knowledge of product feed optimization, Google Merchant Center feeds and Meta product catalogs

Marketing APIs & Data

  • Working knowledge of (including but not limited to): Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API
  • Ability to interpret API documentation and translate business needs into API requirements
    • Validate API outputs and troubleshoot discrepancies
  • Familiarity with JSON, REST concepts, and data refresh schedules (conceptual—not developer-level coding).

Business Analysis & Documentation

  • Strong skills in:
    • Requirement elicitation
    • Functional documentation
    • Process mapping
  • Comfortable working in Agile / hybrid delivery models

Stakeholder and Delivery Management

  • Gather, document, and prioritize requirements from Client stakeholders
  • Create and maintain BRDs, FRDs, process flows, and other relevant documentation
  • Own and oversee development of measurement frameworks/dashboards/applications
  • Support global and regional rollout of measurement solutions and best practices
  • Act as a primary liaison between engineering teams, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (clients, partners) for requirement clarification, solution alignment, and delivery updates.
  • Drive regular communication cadences (status calls, progress updates, documentation) to ensure transparency across stakeholders in different time zones and geographies
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and help resolve delivery blockers, including data gaps, dependency misalignment, tooling limitations, or resource constraints.
  • Navigate ambiguous problem statements and evolving requirements by structuring discussions, proposing solution options, and driving decisions to closure.
  • Coordinate with delivery and team leads to manage bandwidth, planned leaves, and short‑term resource crunches, ensuring commitments and timelines are met without impacting delivery quality.
  • Escalate risks and issues early with clear impact assessment, mitigation options, and recommended next steps.
  • Support seamless handoffs across regions and time zones to maintain continuity of execution
  • Comfortable operating in high‑ambiguity environments with limited information, proactively shaping requirements, managing risks, and ensuring momentum despite uncertainty and constraints.

Agile Methodology

  • Experience of leading delivery methodologies (e.g. Scrum ceremonies, Kanban etc)
  • Tracking work items (e.g. Jira)
  • Delivering product increments, addressing user feedback

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to:
    • Google Analytics 4
    • Conversion APIs (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions)
    • Tag management systems (GTM)
  • Experience in global or multi-market delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with AI assisted development and AI tools (like Github Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini)
