About the Role:
We are seeking a Business Analyst Location – THQ Blackburn, VIC for a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.
Purpose of the Role:
The role has primary responsibility for capturing and presentation of property performance related data facilitating improved decision making, governance and ensuring visibility of Property initiatives as the group supports Organisation-wide mission expression initiatives. The role also has responsibility for supporting the Property Group’s business units and the Senior Business Analyst in managing Dashboard reporting requirements.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide reporting support to the Property Group – Present data that enables insights assisting the identification of opportunities for Property to improve program, project and spend management.
Maintain reporting processes that assist Property Managers predict outcomes or issues that are better managed with earlier intervention. Meet user requirements for Excel front-end and dashboard reporting.
Provide analytical and governance support to the Office of the CPO when they are planning and executing Property initiatives.
Support the Senior Business Analyst in monitoring Property budget OPEX and CAPEX planning and expenditure per the various property proposals.
Provide support to the Financial Planning and Analysis activities carried out by TSA Finance, budgeting and forecasting, and periodic reporting.
Work with Senior Business Analyst to analyse processes and assist in identifying opportunities for streamlining Property processes at TSA.
Maintain the Property Group’s Document management repository, Sharepoint. Enhance and maintain Sharepoint for the purpose of ensuring staff continue to benefit from the tool’s use.
Maintain an audit trail of documentation that supports approvals processes.
Education and Qualifications Required:
Basic Excel skills and able to use the MS Office suite of tools.
Basic skills in the use of MS SQL server tools is desirable but not essential.
Some previous workplace experience in a Projects/Program environment is preferable but not essential.
Recently completed tertiary study related to IT, Business, Commercial or property development.
Requirements of the role:
A National Criminal History Check is required

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
