highly skilled Business Analyst
to support IT
project teams in a complex business environment. The analyst will:

Responsibilities

The
Business Analyst will be expected to:

• 
  Lead
  requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• 
  Document
  detailed business requirements and workflows.
• 
  Analyze
  current processes, identify improvements, and develop business cases.
• 
  Collaborate
  with IT, operations, and management teams.
• 
  Create
  functional specifications and user stories.
• 
  Conduct impact
  analysis for proposed changes.
• 
  Mentor junior
  analysts and support team members.
• 
  Participate in
  testing and quality assurance.
• 
  Develop
  training materials and conduct end-user training.
• 
  Act as a
  liaison between end-users, technical teams, consultants, and government
  organizations.
• 
  Identify opportunities
  for process improvement through technology or workflow changes.
• 
  Plan and
  conduct business process reengineering projects.
• 
  Consolidate
  information into clear documentation for management decision-making.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory

• 
  Bachelor’s
  degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or equivalent.
• 
  Minimum
  10
  years
  of experience as a Business Analyst.
• 
  At least
  5
  years
  in process analysis and re-engineering.
• 
  At least
  5
  years
  writing requirements, use cases, and user stories.
• 
  At least
  5
  years
  working in
  Agile environments
  .
• 
  Strong
  political acumen and critical thinking skills.
• 
  Excellent
  communication, consulting, and client relationship skills.
• 
  Ability to
  frame problems, collect information, and make timely decisions.

Preferred

• 
  Accreditation
  from
  IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis)
  .
• 
  Knowledge of
  BABOK
  (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge)
  .
