Department Overview
Operations Support is dedicated to creating cross-commodity consistency and standards in Operations. The team provides support services guided by best practices and a relentless pursuit for improvement. It has single points of accountability for Clerical Services, Change Control & Order Management, Performance & Process Improvement, Ops Data Analytics & Tools, Non-Energy Billing and Clerical Knowledge & Skills. Operations Support is comprised of approximately 1,000 coworkers.
The Non-Energy Billing department is defining billing process standards and providing overall governance and oversight for Non-Energy billing. Some of the current priorities are:
• Continue lean process work for additional revenue streams
• Setup a Performance Management Infrastructure
• Roll out billing standards framework
• Work with Propel Team for implementation of Non-Energy billing
This role will be placed within the Non-Energy Billing governance team; a high performing, fast paced organization redefining the standard for Non-Energy billing. The role is well suited for a curious, motivated self‑starter who brings a can‑do attitude and is energized by supporting teams, improving how work gets done, and helping a department mature its operational practices. In this role you will work closely with the functional areas to ensure accurate billing and timely collection.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland, CA or Sacramento, CA, approximately once per week or more, depending on business need or company requirements.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
Bay Minimum: $82,000
Bay Area Mid: $103,000
Bay Maximum: $124,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
