Zwicker is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Andover, MA. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our team. You will analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable specifications to support technology initiatives in a law firm environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly regulated industry.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually.

Responsibilities include

• Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and process reviews.
• Map current workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements.
• Work closely with IT developers, QA, and project managers to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
• Assist in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure proposed solutions align with compliance and security policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong understanding of requirements-gathering techniques and process documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Visio/SmartDraw.
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Intermediate SQL skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience with database applications
• Ability to read and understand code written in a variety of programming languages
• Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
• Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
• Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
• Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence

Preferred Qualifications

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a financial or legal environment.
• Experience working in a heavily regulated environment
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.

Physical Qualifications

• Be able to lift five pounds or greater
• Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
• Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
• Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking
