Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our document automation, workflow orchestration, and automated testing platforms. This role involves analysing business processes, defining system requirements, supporting end-to-end testing, and ensuring the successful delivery of enhancements across our content generation and validation ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and an interest in developing both functional and technical expertise across complex platforms. The position requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and Operations teams, and supports multiple global client implementations.

Responsibilities and Duties

Requirements & Analysis

  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Translate requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for development teams.
  • Conduct impact assessments for requested enhancements, considering workflow dependencies and downstream effects.

Backlog & Delivery Management

  • Create and refine well-structured JIRA tickets including feature requests, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to organise, prioritise, and maintain the product backlog.
  • Track development progress and ensure timely delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with QA to develop comprehensive test cases and define end-to-end test scenarios.
  • Support regression and sanity testing across automated validation tools.
  • Participate in application deployments and conduct post-release smoke testing to ensure core functionality operates as expected.

Operational & Client Support

  • Investigate issues across workflow, document generation, and automated testing components.
  • Provide timely responses to internal teams regarding data discrepancies, content formatting, or workflow behaviours.
  • Assist in analysing client-reported issues and validating fixes.

Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system behaviour, business processes, workflows and data flows, and client-facing feature guides.
  • Ensure documentation is kept current and accessible for all stakeholders.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, Product, and Client Services to ensure alignment across all stages of delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of requirements, timelines, and expected outcomes.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex workflows.
  • Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON, XML, or YAML.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and workflow-oriented platforms.
  • Experience writing or executing test cases, validating outputs, or supporting regression testing.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel,and similar documentation or analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across globally distributed teams.
  • Ability to balance multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with document automation platforms or workflow orchestration tools.
  • Exposure to automated testing or regression validation environments.
  • Understanding of templating, formatting, or content-generation logic.
  • Prior experience in financial technology or structured document workflows.

Other Requirements

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial.
  • Strong work ethic, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
