Job Description

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on data analytics and visualizatio
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (including DAX) and other data visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView, etc.)
• Solid understanding of database management systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data findings into actionable insights
• Experience in project management and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

Responsibilities:

• Data Gathering and Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives
• Collect and analyze data from various sources to uncover insights and trends
• Develop data models and perform data profiling to ensure data quality and reliability
• Dashboard and Report Development:
  
• Design and create interactive dashboards and reports using fit for purpose tools.
• Customize visualizations to effectively communicate key metrics and trends
• Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design
• Data Interpretation and Insights:
• Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques
• Provide actionable recommendations and insights to support decision-making processes
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, finance, marketing, and operations
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver solutions
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integration and alignment with organizational standards
