Job Description

The Business Analyst at Sparks Wiz Limited will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between engineering teams and business stakeholders. This role involves analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and providing insights to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles and processes, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Note: This position is strictly open tp candidates within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Requirements Gathering:
   • Collaborate with engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and document business and technical requirements.
   • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather detailed requirements.
2. Data Analysis:
   • Analyze project data, performance metrics, and industry trends to provide actionable insights.
   • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).
3. Process Improvement:
   • Evaluate existing engineering processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
   • Recommend and implement process changes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
4. Solution Design:
   • Work with engineering teams to design solutions that align with business requirements and technical constraints.
   • Develop use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
5. Project Management Support:
   • Assist in defining project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.
   • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with business goals.
6. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Serve as a liaison between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
   • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and updates to various audiences.
7. Testing and Validation:
   • Support the testing and validation of engineering solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
   • Assist in the development of test plans and test cases.
8. Documentation:
   • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, requirements, and solutions.
   • Ensure documentation is clear, accurate, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI tools).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering principles, processes, and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Work Environment:

• Remote setting with occasional site visits to engineering facilities or project sites.
• May require occasional travel to meet with clients or stakeholders.

Pay:

• $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
