Job Description
Business Analyst will be responsible to prepare and define the business scope for new projects and programs under Technology and Trade Solutions division of Noatum Ports. Will help guide businesses in improving processes, products, services, and software.
Business Analyst will take a lead in covering the full cycle from process analysis, benchmarking, process reengineering, requirements analysis and design, while coordinating with other departments such as Stakeholder Management, Operations and Digitalization. The preferred candidate will also be responsible of identifying gaps in existing processes/solution, handling Change Management processes to ensure services/solution are up to date and the best practices are adopted.
SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIESKey Responsibilities:
- Under the guidance of the Director Product Development and the Product Owner, works on the planning processes associated with the implementation of projects or business improvements.
- Collaborates with the Project Manager, the Business Partner, Systems Analysts, Quality Analysts and Systems Support Analysts to develop business cases, high level plans and project closure documents. Participates in meetings as required to support the Business Partners in the communication and promotion of services and products.
- Keeps informed of key initiatives, proposals, and requirements of each client group Executes the initiatives identified in the vision and strategy.
- Participates in user story development and prioritization with Product Owner and Scrum Team Conducts specific business analysis activities to support the Development Team.
- Fine-tunes content of user stories to support Development team.
- Develops functional test cases and supports testing efforts of Development Team.
- Provides advice on best practice around business process design and improvement.
- Analyses and designs business processes based on business needs with the stakeholders. Prepares documents such as business process diagrams, flowcharts, requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, etc. and reviews with stakeholders.
- Translates technical issues into plain language that stakeholders understand.
- Facilitates workshops and training sessions with business users.
- Participates in development of system documentation and training materials.
- Provides technical advice on the industry standards, design, usage, functionality, behavior, and user interface specifications and configuration parameters related to supported or proposed technologies and services to fit business needs.
- Collaborates with the Scrum Team and stakeholders to translate business needs into system improvements, and shares feedback on Product Increments.
