Rabobank is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team in Sydney. The Business Analyst performs business analysis functions in initiatives to support outcomes for the bank. In this role you will collaborate closely with Squads and teams and other stakeholders from within the business, third parties, as well as other initiatives where necessary.
This role sits within the COO domain and is made up of Technology, Operations, Chief Product Owner, Security & Monitoring, Financial & Economic Crime Unit and Shared Services. Working within the COO Domain will mean working together with other Teams to provide the best overall services to both internal and external stakeholders.
Working with the Senior Business Analyst and/or Product Owners to define and deliver business initiatives
Lead business analysis activities, including discovery, requirements gathering and solution design
Facilitate workshops and working groups to capture business needs and cross-functional requirements
Develop current and future state process models and assess impacts and opportunities
Translate business needs into clear business requirements, user stories and functional specifications
Support solution delivery through testing, risk identification and implementation activities
Contribute to change, training and adoption activities to ensure successful outcomes
Experience within a financial services, risk or compliance environment
Experience working across Agile, hybrid or waterfall delivery models, with a strong preference for Agile ways of working
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Good time management and collaboration
