SAP administration includes daily system monitoring, processing end-user requests, user and business processes development/training, analysis of system errors, facilitation of error resolution, reporting, testing system changes, managing internal and external relations, and shepherding enhancement / break-fix requests through the request/release/change management process.
This role is also responsible for backing up other SAP related applications
Key Accountabilities
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for SAP applications, interrelatedness of integrated systems providing direction to site users,partnersand internal/external support teams
End-user support (SAP, TRACK, Barcoding, etc.), including fulfilling requests for data changes (i.e.user accounts/security, equipment master, material master, etc...), answering inquiries, solvingissuesandfacilitatingissue resolution
Ensure proper controls are in place so maintenance can be planned/performed (i.e.DoFA, asset – cost center relationships)
Responsible for processing master data additions/modifications in site maintenance management system, SAP PM
Maintain master data integrity, identification of data anomalies, data cleansing, and review data viability with data owners.
Provide on demand reporting to team members and tracking metrics for use in KPI reporting
Drive process improvements to improve efficiency,effectivenessand integration of related business processes in a highly sophisticated integrated systems environment
Maintain relationships with:
Site process collaborators and governance teams
Site users
Global Business Services
Third party system vendors
Identifyand manage site impact of system changes/upgrades (including enhancements and break/fix requests), performing testing of system changes, in alignment with site priorities, IT&S and the BP change management process
Provide end user training, create/maintaintraining/user guides
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, related engineering field, or related refinery experience with SAP PM/ SAP MM
5 years’ experience administration of SAP Materials Management and Services (MM) and Plant Maintenance (PM) in the refining industry
5 years’ experience with maintenance cycles (planning & execution) in a production environment, preferably in the oil & gas industry
5 years’ working experience with electronic maintenance management system software, preferably SAP PM
5 years’ working experience in Purchasing to Pay processes and systems within the SAP (SRM, Ariba) applications in the refining industry
3 years intermediate MS Excel and Access programming
Preferred
Intermediate knowledge SAP MM, SAP PM, SRM, and Ariba
Knowledgeable inend to endmaterials management, warehouse management, plant maintenance, and procurement business processes
Demonstrable ability to work with diverse, multi-functional teams and manage complex multi-functional relationships
Demonstrates excellent communications and customer service skills
Exhibits aptitude to perform “silent running” activities independently with little or no direction
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Proficient inidentifyinggaps and recommending solutions/improvements based on business requirements/processes
Demonstrable ability to define requirements and communicate openly and clearly with team members and other collaborators
