Our Carrier Integrations Team (CIT&SAPI) ensures Clients can access reliable, scalable, and compliant carrier options by building and maintaining the technical connections that move millions of parcels each year.
As a Business Analyst in CIT, you will translate carrier requirements, API capabilities, and operational rules into clear product and technical specifications. You will be a key link between carriers, product, engineering, and operations - helping Rebound bring new carriers to market, improve integration quality, and expand our service footprint worldwide.
What Carrier Integrations Enable at Rebound
- Connect merchants to 300+ carrier services through standardized, scalable APIs
- Map carrier-specific rules, labels, barcodes, tracking events, and routing logic into Rebound’s platform
- Ensure compliance with local operational processes and data formats
- Support real-time tracking, label generation, and return flows across regions and service levels

Key Responsibilities
Key Activities
Discovery:
- Partner with the Product Owner (PO) to understand integration requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews with both internal teams and external partners to gather integration needs and constraints.
- Analyze existing systems, APIs, and data flows to identify integration points, limitations, and opportunities.
- Define and document integration requirements, including API specifications, data mapping documents, and technical acceptance criteria.
Integration Development:
- Work closely with the PO and development team to ensure integration requirements are properly implemented.
- Create and maintain integration documentation, including architecture diagrams, data dictionaries, and process flows.
- Facilitate technical workshops and meetings with integration partners to resolve interface challenges and ensure alignment.
- Monitor integration performance metrics and track data quality across systems.
- Support integration testing, deployment, and rollout procedures.
- Provide ongoing support for live integrations, including troubleshooting and enhancement requests.
Goal Setting & Prioritization:
- Assist the PO in prioritizing integration backlog items based on technical dependencies and business impact.
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the complexity, effort, and potential value of new integrations.
- Identify and manage integration-specific risks related to security, compliance, and performance.
- Track integration milestones and coordinate dependencies across multiple systems and teams.
People & Collaboration
- Clearly communicate business requirements across technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Continuously improve analytical thinking, product understanding, and requirements gathering techniques.
- Align business requirements with product and technical teams, ensuring stakeholder needs are accurately captured and translated.
- Manage stakeholders involved in requirements gathering and validation. Collaborate with POs, PMs, and developers to translate business needs into clear requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to ensure shared understanding and alignment.

Requirements
- Experience in business analysis within product or technology teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into product requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create clear documentation and support rollout activities.
