Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst in the Structured Products industry. This technical role involves setting up and maintaining downstream processes for third-party exports and imports. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the Structured Products market and a keen interest in developing both their technical and business skills. The position requires strong internal collaboration with various teams to support a dedicated client in our data operations division.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Set up and maintain export and import components in BPMN.
• Write data mappings in domain-specific languages.
• Provide regression test plans.
• Templating in an in-house document generation engine using PHP, Java Script and/or JSON/YAML configurations.
• Perform XSL-Transformations to ensure data accuracy and compatibility with various exports and imports.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data export and import components to ensure smooth operations.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Assist in the development and implementation of business processes and workflows.
• Provide technical support for data-related issues and queries from internal teams and external clients.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure data integration and system compatibility.
• Maintain documentation of processes, data flows, and system configurations.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Basic understanding of the Structured Products market and financial instruments.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data transformation and manipulation tools (e.g., SQL, Java, Excel).
• Experience with data export formats such as CSV, Excel, and XML.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  Fluent in English and German; additional languages are beneficial.
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
