Purpose of the role

To collaborate with product owners and other technical teams involved in the product development process and utilise their knowledge of the bank’s technologies to enact the vision defined in the product roadmap.

Accountabilities

• Provision of subject matter expertise to support the collaboration between the product owner and the technical side of product development.
• Support the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision defined in the product roadmap and communicate them with the relevant stakeholders and the development team.
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritise product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility that are well defined, measurable and secure.
• Development and implementation of assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
• Monitoring of product performance to identify opportunities for optimisation that meets the banks performance standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry technology trends and technologies, to evaluate and adopt new approaches to improve product development and delivery.

Join us as Business Analyst, where you will be responsible for:

• Understanding, analysing, and translating business problems into clear requirements aligned with organizational strategy.
• Creating and maintaining requirements documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Conducting structured requirements‑gathering sessions, workshops, interviews, and data analysis with stakeholders across business, operations, and technology.
• Mapping current-state and future-state processes, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Working closely with Technology, Operations, Vendor Partners, and User groups to ensure solutions meet business needs and deliver expected outcomes.
• Supporting testing lifecycle activities including test case review, UAT planning, defect triage, and evaluating readiness for release.
• Monitoring delivery progress, validating requirement coverage, and ensuring traceability from concept through implementation.
• Communicating requirements, risks, dependencies, and delivery updates clearly to stakeholders and ensuring alignment across teams.
• Ensuring adherence to mandatory controls, including governance, ORACs, compliance, architecture standards, and data integrity requirements.
• Representing the business perspective in delivery forums, providing clarification, and supporting decision-making throughout the change lifecycle.

To be successful as a Business Analyst, you should have:

• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to translate complex concepts into simple, actionable requirements.
• Ability to balance analytical thinking with practical delivery, prioritization, and structured problem-solving.
• Good understanding of technology components, data flows, integration points, and system behavior.

• Ability to influence, collaborate, and drive alignment across business, technology, and control functions.

Basic / Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or working in similar change‑delivery roles.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools and delivery practices such as Jira, Confluence, ADO, or similar.
• Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.

Desirable Skillsets / Good to Have:

• Experience within financial services, capital markets, private banking, or regulated environments.
• Working knowledge of APIs, data flows, integration patterns, and operational processes.
• Exposure to governance frameworks, risk processes, and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Agile BA, or equivalent.
