Job Description

The Voluntary Protection Products team is looking for a Business Analyst. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and issuing customer refunds for Voluntary Protection Products that expire when customers pay off their Auto, RV and Powersport loans. These products include GAP, Credit Life Insurance and Credit Disability Insurance.

This position needs to be located out of our Gateway (Columbus, OH) office.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Utilize, update and maintain Microsoft Access Database as it relates to the processing and documenting of VPP customer refunds.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in depth to facilitate and document the issuance of VPP refunds.
  • Generate appropriate General Ledge and Dealer Reserve entries for all VPP refunds and ensure all offsetting entries are accurate and balanced.
  • Create Microsoft Access queries to generate management reporting as defined and on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Act as subject matter expert to facilitate the processing and resolution of all escalated issues and questions as they relate to the processing of VPP refunds. This includes assisting our consumer customers, dealer customers, vendor partners, VPP providers, internal colleagues, phone bank, and all internal business partners.
  • Assist in the continued development and streamlining of the VPP refund process. Research, recommend and implement solutions for continued process development and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years Indirect Loan processing experience.
  • High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with and in depth knowledge of indirect Dealer Reserve.
  • Experience with various related tools (Passport, Hogan, Enterprise Document Retrieval (EDR), Enterprise Sales and Service (ESS), RefundPlus, CheckVision, etc.) and with balancing transactions.
  • Basic understanding of indirect VPP products.
  • Experience reconciling General Ledger accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
