Sutherland is seeking an attentive and goal-oriented person to join us as a Business Analyst for NICE System program.
The Business Analyst is responsible for requirement gathering, creating project documentation deliverables, data analysis, application configuration, writing SQL, unit and system testing efforts on various customer billable projects
Work closely with customer sales and service organizations to define application metrics, reports, dashboards, data mapping, and other integration requirements. Ensure that complex customer business requirements are accurately captured, documented, communicated, and understood by developers, consultants, business and technology management both internally at NICE and by customers
Lead and develop use/test cases and test data to deliver high quality solution results, and support the customer and internal teams during all customer Acceptance Testing phases
Communicate and train others on NICE solutions – overall business value and process, as well as detailed features and functionality
Contribute overall to the team’s continual improvement process by preparing System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documents including deliverables checklist, business requirements, design diagram specifications, QA & UAT test plans, lessons learned
Use best practice methods, quality standards, and guidelines on all project phases
Travels to customer site to conduct work in a professional and organized manne
Project experience – working as part of a team
· Strong expertise with Microsoft Excel
· Excellent customer facing skills
· Excellent organizational skills, ability to set own task lists and time lines
· Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a highly dynamic environment
· Analytical ability – working with formulas, calculations and data
· Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or equivalent)
· Experience implementing or using one of the following:
-Enterprise applications (e.g. Avaya, Siebel, Genesys, Siebel, SAP);
-EAI tools (e.g. WebMethods, TIBCO);
-Reporting/business intelligence tools (e.g. Business Objects, Cognos); or database applications
