Job Description

Are you ready for an exciting and challenging business partner role in diverse environment of Business Area East Europe? Then you could be our new Business Analyst.
You will be part of Novo Nordisk Czech Republic, in Prague.

The position

As a Business Analyst, you will support Czech Republic with business analysis and insights to drive performance and informed decision making. In this role, you will report to Finance & Operations Director.
Your key activities will include:

  • Manage Anchor Budget (AB) and Rolling Estimates (RE)
  • Generation and communication of insights on business performance.
  • Forecasting, target setting and financial analysis. Sales forecasting and target setting.
  • Follow up on targets execution and variance explanation.
  • Supporting preparation and evaluation of business cases. Analytical support to the management team

Qualifications

As our Business Analyst, you need to have very good analytical skills. You need to be proactive and accountable as well as you need to be able to manage multiple tasks, stakeholders and show complicated things in an understandable way to influence people and business decisions. You need an internal customer orientation and the ability to build trusting relationships at all levels.


To be effective in this role, it is mandatory to have:

  • Strong analytical skills, independent & objective thinking
  • Fluency in English and Czech language
  • University degree - Economic background
  • Min. 2 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Proficiency in Excel

About the Department

Finance Operations is a department of professionals supporting the affiliate and CZ management with all business analysis and insights needed to drive company performance. As a Business Analyst you will cooperate with BA East Business Information team.
