Mid-Continent Group is seeking a Business Analyst who will serve in a technical role on our Information Technology team.
Maintain and update rating tables, databases, and formulas within the underwriting and policy administration systems.
Create and update commercial policy forms, including ISO and company proprietary forms.
Research and resolve rating and data issues for Commercial Underwriting.
Support system projects by helping define business requirements/user stories and assisting with design and implementation.
Develop test plans, coordinate and perform UAT, and document progress, table changes, and results for compliance.
Communicate project status with business units, IT, and leadership.
Serve as a liaison between business units and IT.
Lead small meetings, prepare agendas, and foster effective collaboration.
Build strong working relationships across IT, Underwriting, and business partners.
Perform other related duties.
Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
Insurance experience preferred.
Basic experience working with application data, tables, and testing.
Familiarity with CGI Ratabase is helpful but not required.
Strong multitasking, organization, and time‑management skills; able to handle shifting priorities and interruptions.
Professional communication skills; comfortable interacting at all organizational levels.
Demonstrates emotional intelligence, curiosity, and self‑driven development.
