Job Description

The Senior Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in understanding Sovereign Operations business process, elicit and validate business requirements, propose and review prototypes with product owners as well as solution design. Furthermore, the Senior BA will assist in quality assurance tasks to support the successful implementation of the SovOps solution.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities:

The Senior BA will work with the end users and support team on managing requirements in relation to the implementation of the SovOps solution.

Specifically, the Business Analyst will:

  1. Conduct requirements validation and usability workshops and present findings, including proposed solution designs that consider user experience, to relevant stakeholders.
  2. Develop essential documentation for the project, such as user stories, data field specifications, and prototypes in alignment with the projects User Interface User Experience (UIUX) requirements.
  3. Seeking approval from Product Owners for business requirements, scenarios, and prototypes.
  4. Assist in reviewing and validating test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  5. Work with the testing team and provide support to users during Usability Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  6. Monitor and assist in resolving bugs and issues as they arise.

The Senior BA will work with his or her counterparts, from product owners and technical side of new systems, including integration when needed, within the ecosystem of the company.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or any related course.
  • At least 8 years of solid experience in business analysis or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, financial services sector.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes.
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of an end-to-end solution deployment and management lifecycle based on Agile methodology is highly desirable.
