Job Description

About the Role:

The Lead BA will assume primary responsibility for the assessment, development, and translation of business process requirements into comprehensive functional and integration specifications. Furthermore, the Lead BA will assist in quality assurance tasks to support the successful implementation.

Scope of Work/Responsibilities:

The Lead BA will work with the Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts on business requirements.

Specifically, the business analyst will:

  1. Conduct requirements validation and usability workshops and present findings, including proposed solution designs that consider user experience, to relevant stakeholders.
  2. Develop essential documentation for the project, such as user stories, data field specifications, and prototypes in alignment with the projects User Interface User Experience (UIUX) requirements.
  3. Document process handshakes and scenarios. Downstream systems are thoroughly documented and translated into clear integration requirements.
  4. Seeking approval from Product Owners for business requirements, scenarios, and prototypes.
  5. Assist in reviewing and validating test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
  6. Coordinate with the testing team and provide support to users during Usability Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  7. Monitor and assist in resolving bugs and issues as they arise.

The Lead BA will collaborate with his or her counterparts, from business, and technical side of new systems, including integration within the ecosystem of the client to achieve objective.

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience):

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Accounting, or any related course.
  • At least 10 years of solid experience in business analysis or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in banking, accounting, financial services sector.
  • 5 years of experience in designing and documenting business processes.
  • 5 years of experience in quality assurance and testing IT applications.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of an end-to-end solution deployment and management lifecycle based on Agile methodology is highly desirable

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid, requiring to report onsite three times a week. If the user unit requires to report onsite for more than 3 days, compliance is mandatory.
  • Work Schedule is from 8:00AM 5:00PM Manila Time.
