
This position provides business analysis and project coordination support for a migration initiative within the Office of Epidemiology (OEPI). The role requires close collaboration with business teams, federal and state partners, and coordination with VITA. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing and tracking tasks across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure consistent progress. The Business Analyst will ensure business requirements, enhancements, modifications, and newly identified business initiatives related to the needs of application and data migration are thoroughly documented for successful implementation of Information Technology solutions. They will also assist in creating and updating security documents.
Ø Follow requirement elicitation strategies to gather requirements from business stakeholders for tasks related to applicationdata migration
Ø Facilitate project conference calls, status meetings, planning sessions, and provide for meeting notes
Ø Be a consultant to customers and communicate project status throughout the project lifecycle
Ø Keep the project team informed of key issues and tasks that require follow-up in a timely manner
Ø Facilitate calls with different teams to drive necessary information
Ø Engage with business team, state partners (VITA), federal partners such as CDC
Ø Document current state, future state process, GAP analysis, requirements documentation, user stories with acceptance criteria
Ø Represent requirements in process flow and other suitable pictorial diagrams
Ø Actively participating in functional and systems integration unit testing; creating test plans, scenarios, and testing results
Ø Assisting customers with user acceptance testing
Ø Developing and presenting training to customers, documenting user manual when needed
Ø Providing implementation and maintenance support
Utilizing system-based project management applications, collaboration applications, and MS Office applications, SharePoint, MS Project,Teams, etc.
