Job Description

Business Analyst - 6 Month Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to credit risk and ESG
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across credit, risk, ESG, and IT teams to understand project objectives
  • Translate business requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and technical specifications
  • Conduct data analysis to support ESG-aligned credit risk models and reporting frameworks
  • Assist in solution design, testing, and implementation for risk and ESG-related systems or tools
  • Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, and requirement gathering sessions using Agile methodologies
  • Ensure all documentation is up-to-date in Confluence and aligned with internal standards
  • Support UAT processes, feedback collection, and defect resolution

Minimum Requirements: Education & Certification:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
  • Business Analysis Certification (e.g., CBAP, IIBA) is advantageous

Experience:

  • 3 - 5 years as a Business Analyst, with solid exposure to Credit Risk
  • Experience working in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) frameworks
  • Previous exposure to financial services or banking environments is essential
  • Familiarity with risk and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Strong understanding of BA tools and Agile ways of working

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Confluence
  • Comfortable working with data and analytical tools to support business decisions
  • Experience with JIRA, MX, or similar platforms preferred
