Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Data Platform Product team. This role is critical in enabling enterprise-wide data consolidation across multiple verticals and horizontals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on SQL expertise, and the ability to standardize and harmonize data from diverse sources while ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Consolidation & Standardization: Understand and document all source systems and data structures across multiple business units. Define and implement data standardization rules to ensure consistency across verticals/horizontals. Collaborate with engineering teams to design and validate consolidated data models.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements for data integration and reporting. Translate business needs into technical specifications for the data platform.
• SQL & Data Validation: Write complex SQL queries to extract, validate, and reconcile data from multiple sources. Perform data quality checks and resolve discrepancies.
• Ownership & Delivery: Take end-to-end ownership of assigned initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Proactively identify risks and drive resolution.
• Communication & Collaboration: Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, mappings, and transformation logic.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale data sets.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Proven ability to standardize and consolidate data across multiple systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or data-focused roles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
