The Role

This role is responsible for documenting, standardising, and improving global sales processes across Commercial Operations. Acting as a bridge between Sales, Technology, and Operations, the Business Analyst will ensure processes are clearly defined, quality assured, and effectively embedded through training and documentation.

The role plays a critical part in driving scalability, consistency, and operational excellence across the commercial organisation.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Sales Process Documentation & Standardisation

  • Document end-to-end sales processes across key workflows (e.g. lead-to-opportunity, opportunity-to-contract, renewal, forecasting)
  • Create clear, structured process maps (e.g. BPMN, flow diagrams) to support global alignment
  • Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies, and recommend improvements
  • Maintain a centralised, up-to-date process repository (e.g. Confluence / SharePoint)

2. Quality Assurance (QA) & Testing

  • Define and execute QA frameworks for sales processes, systems, and workflows (e.g. Salesforce changes, automation)
  • Develop test cases and test scripts aligned to business requirements
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure outputs meet defined acceptance criteria
  • Log, track, and resolve defects in partnership with technology and product teams
  • Ensure all process changes are tested before deployment

3. Requirements Gathering & Business Analysis

  • Work with stakeholders (Sales, Marketing Ops, Finance, Product, Technology) to gather and document business requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Support prioritisation of enhancements based on business impact and feasibility
  • Act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams

4. Training & Enablement

  • Design and develop commercial operations training materials (e.g. playbooks, guides, process documentation)
  • Deliver structured onboarding content for new joiners and ongoing training for sales teams
  • Embed new processes and system changes through effective communication and training rollout
  • Ensure documentation is clear, accessible, and aligned to user needs

5. Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the governance of commercial processes, ensuring adherence to defined standards
  • Monitor process adoption and effectiveness using data and feedback
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and data quality
  • Contribute to broader Commercial Operations transformation programmes

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

  • Experience in a Business Analyst or similar role (ideally within Sales, Commercial Operations, or GTM environments)
  • Strong process mapping and documentation skills
  • Experience in QA, UAT, and testing frameworks
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and structured thinking

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with sales processes (forecasting, pipeline management, renewals)
  • Experience using documentation tools (e.g. Confluence, Lucidchart, Visio)
  • Exposure to Agile / product delivery environments
