We are seeking an experienced People Leader for the Business Analysis to lead a team of 6+ Business Analysts and shape the strategic direction of business analysis across a diverse and evolving portfolio.

In this role, you will oversee initiatives spanning infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, security uplift, and business application transformations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes while building capability and fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within your team.

As a strategic leader, you will help align business analysis outcomes with enterprise strategy, influence decision-making, and ensure investments deliver measurable value. You will contribute by guiding prioritisation, shaping roadmaps, and improving delivery effectiveness across the portfolio.

Beyond people leadership, you will remain hands-on providing specialised business analysis expertise to support business case development and, at times, the implementation of technology solutions across projects delivered through the Portfolio Delivery function within the Enterprise Strategy and Change department.

You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of a well-established Business Analysis Services practice, refining standards, uplifting capability, and embedding best-in-class methodologies and practices.

Key capabilities and experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence

  • Ability to foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement, enabling high-performing teams to thrive in complex environments.

  • Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to align delivery with enterprise objectives and influence senior stakeholders

  • Experience in understanding roadmaps and portfolio priorities, and aligning this understanding to drive value realisation across complex portfolios

  • Proven experience in technical business analysis across major infrastructure and application transformation initiatives

  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system design principles

  • Experience analysing business needs and delivering practical, value-driven solutions

  • Advanced knowledge of business analysis practices, including tools, methodologies, and techniques

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills

Your Team
You will be part of the broader Portfolio Delivery team within the Enterprise Strategy and Change Department, working within a collaborative and high-performing team of Business Analysts.

The team plays a critical role in delivering technical infrastructure and transformation initiatives that support the Corporate Services Group, helping to strengthen and evolve the core IT functions underpinning the organisation’s policy, operational, and corporate objectives.
