Job Description

Joining Razer will place you on a global mission to revolutionize the way the world games. Razer is a place to do great work, offering you the opportunity to make an impact globally while working across a global team located across 5 continents. Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.

Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a data-driven Business Analysis Manager to serve as the analytical gatekeeper for our mobile game publishing pipeline. Rather than scouting deals externally, your primary focus will be combining hands-on gameplay deconstruction with deep data analysis—leveraging market intelligence platforms, in-game telemetry, and BI tools—to evaluate potential titles, support partner discussions, and guide leadership on high-value publishing decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Game Evaluation & Data-Backed Deconstruction (Primary Focus – 60%)
  • Thoroughly playtest and evaluate submitted or scouted game builds based on core loop, game mechanics, monetization depth, scalability, and local market fit.
  • Analyze raw test data, soft-launch telemetry, or developer-provided metrics using analytics tools to validate retention (D1/D7/D30), funnel conversion, and monetization bottlenecks.
  • Produce comprehensive, data-backed evaluation reports and actionable recommendations to guide leadership on which titles to pursue or reject.
  • Provide product-level data inputs and historical benchmarks to support the Operations and Finance teams during deal feasibility assessments.
  1. Market Intelligence & Competitive Benchmarking (25%)
  • Heavily utilize mobile market intelligence platforms (e.g., Sensor Tower, data.ai, AppMagic) to track top-performing games, dissecting download trends, revenue trajectories, LiveOps cadences, and monetization strategies.
  • Extract and synthesize market data—including target player demographics, spending patterns, and genre taxonomy—to back up game evaluations with empirical evidence.
  • Conduct deep-dive competitor benchmarking against our existing portfolio and industry leaders to identify portfolio gaps and market opportunities.
  1. Cross-Functional & Partner Deal Support (15%)
  • Prepare Partner-Facing Materials: Synthesize product evaluation findings, technical/localization feedback, and local market insights into structured documentation (e.g., feedback decks, market overview slides) to support Leadership and BD teams during developer discussions and deal pitching.
  • Support Deal Negotiations: Provide objective, data-backed product critiques (such as monetization gaps or retention risks) to help the deal team establish negotiation leverage, request product adjustments, and set realistic business terms with external studios.
  • Internal Alignment: Work closely with Marketing (UA), Product, Finance, and Technical teams during the pre-publishing phase to ensure evaluated games align with user acquisition trends, promotional capabilities, and technical requirements.
  • Build and share self-serve dashboards, competitor updates, and analytical insights to foster a rigorous, data-driven publishing culture.

Pre-Requisites

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Deep Proficiency in Data & Analytics Tools (Mandatory): Market & Ad Intelligence: Advanced hands-on experience with platforms such as Sensor Tower, AppMagic, data.ai, and UA intelligence tools (e.g., SocialPeta, AppGrowing) to dissect market trends, RPD (Revenue Per Download), and competitor strategies.Product & In-Game Analytics: Strong working knowledge of mobile attribution and behavioral analytics platforms (e.g., Firebase, GameAnalytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, AppsFlyer/Adjust) to read user funnels, cohort retention, and in-game economy health.Data Processing & BI: Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (complex modeling, pivot tables) and BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio). Working knowledge of SQL for querying internal databases is a strong advantage.
  • Gaming Literacy & Deconstruction: Extensive experience playing a wide variety of mobile game genres (RPG, Strategy, Casual, Mid-core, etc.) with the ability to connect gameplay design directly to operational KPIs (ARPU, ARPPU, LTV, Pay Rate, Churn Rate).
  • Analytical Storytelling & Communication: Ability to translate complex gameplay experiences and raw market datasets into clear, persuasive evaluation reports for internal leadership and professional feedback decks for external partners.
  • Based in Ho Chi Minh City
