Starbucks Licensed Coffeehouses Finance is seeking a business analysis manager to provide support across various aspects of the North America Licensed business unit. Our team’s mission is to deliver critical finance support for our NA Licensed Coffeehouses organization. To accomplish this, we need individuals with experience in supporting retail partnerships and working in collaborative, cross-functional organizations to drive financial success, process improvements and support business objectives and strategic direction.
This job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting business unit strategic planning and operational decision-making by performing or overseeing highly complex financial analysis and business modeling. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.


As a business analysis manager, you will…
• Influence the business outcomes and support executives and senior leaders in developing plans, annual budgets and in the creation of business cases and regularly providing strategic and financial recommendations to achieve or exceed plan. Create innovative approaches to complex problems and situations. Reviews new business proposals, identifies issues, risk and opportunities. Conducts research and scenario analysis to guide sound financial business decisions.
• Conducts complex analyses to support critical business decisions by leading financial analysis for determining net present value (NPV), return on investment (ROI), internal rate of return (IRR) and profit loss (P&L). Quantifies opportunities and risk and recommends alternatives. Communicates complex financial information and concepts to both financial and business leaders to support and influence decision making
• Inspire and influence others by working with cross-functional teams to set targets and deadlines, develop plans, conduct analyses, measure results and improve processes. Build new ways of working and develop new processes, tools and solutions to scale FP&A activities. Consult with senior management to present data, propose solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Enjoy working on an energetic, fun team providing coaching, direction and modeling leadership behavior for the larger team. Have a clear ability to drive the business forward as part of a highly collaborative team, while acting in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles

We’d love to hear from people with:
• Progressive experience in financial analysis, modeling, budgeting and business planning (7 years)
• Applicable industry experience (5 years)
• Contributing to and leading cross-functional teams (5 years)
• Making recommendations to and influencing decision makers (5 years)

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
