Job Description

CEVA Logistics provides global supply chain solutions to connect people, products, and providers all around the world. Present in more than 170 countries and with over 110,000 employees across 1,500 sites, we are proud to be a Top 5 global 3PL.

Every day, our people imagine better ways to serve a world in motion – creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable solutions for our customers.

YOUR ROLE

As the Business Analysis & Intelligence Specialist within our Contract Logistics division, based in Rosedale, Auckland, you will turn supply chain data into clear, practical insights that help our teams and customers make better decisions.

Reporting to the Head of Planning Services, you will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, gather business requirements, analyse supply chain processes, and support improvement projects across our planning services function.

This is a hands-on role that combines business analysis, data visualisation, SQL/database work and supply chain problem-solving, working closely with customer-specific supply chain teams, solution architects, global teams and customers to improve visibility, identify risks and support smarter planning outcomes.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve Power BI dashboards, data models and visualisations that give customers and internal teams clear visibility of supply chain performance, risks and opportunities
  • Build reporting solutions that translate complex operational data into practical insights, helping stakeholders understand what is happening, where the issues are, and what actions are required
  • Use SQL, Power Query and database management practices to extract, connect, validate and maintain data sources, ensuring reporting outputs are accurate, reliable and fit for purpose
  • Gather and interpret business requirements from stakeholders and customers, then convert these into clear reporting, analytics and dashboard solutions
  • Analyse supply chain processes, performance trends and exceptions to identify gaps, root causes and improvement opportunities across planning and logistics activity
  • Work closely with planning teams, solution architects, global teams and customers to support UAT, hypercare, process improvement and data-backed decision-making across Contract Logistics.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate is a data-driven business intelligence professional with strong technical capability and genuine supply chain understanding. Our ideal candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience building Power BI and/or Tableau reporting solutions, with the ability to design dashboards that are clear, usable and commercially meaningful
  • Strong SQL and database management skills, including extracting, validating, connecting and maintaining data from multiple sources
  • Practical experience in a supply chain, logistics, inventory, planning or operational environment, so you can understand the business context behind the data
  • Strong business analysis capability, including asking the right questions, clarifying requirements and shaping reporting solutions that solve real operational problems
  • A curious, improvement-focused mindset, with strong communication skills and the ability to explain insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.

WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?

In addition to a challenging and rewarding work environment and competitive compensation, we are proud to offer a range of employee benefits designed to support your wellbeing, and help you thrive at work and in life.

  • Personal wellbeing: prioritise your health and wellbeing through the CEVAwell program, Employee Assistance Program, Volunteer Time Off, and Life & Total Permanent Disability Insurance.
  • Work-life balance: benefit from flexible, hybrid, and remote work options.
