  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $116,981 to $129,492 + super

As a Business Advisor, you’ll work alongside project and business teams across a diverse portfolio of property and development projects. You’ll use your financial knowledge and analytical skills to understand performance, identify trends and risks, provide insights and support informed decision-making. From budgeting and forecasting through to financial analysis and reporting, you’ll gain broad exposure to the commercial and operational aspects of complex projects and public assets.

This is an opportunity for a finance professional looking to take the next step in their career and develop a more strategic perspective. We’re looking for someone who is curious about how things work, enjoys looking beyond the numbers and can identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working. You’ll have the opportunity to question existing approaches, turn data into meaningful insights and work with stakeholders to implement practical improvements that strengthen financial management and project outcomes.

What you will bring to the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial and management accounting, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and provide practical recommendations.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain financial information to a range of audiences.
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach, with a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across teams and business units.
  • Sound knowledge of financial governance, accounting principles, compliance requirements and risk management practices.

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, business or commerce fields; experience and knowledge of financial and management accounting.
