Iowa State University Logistics and Support Services is seeking a Business Administrator I to support the department's daily business operations. This position helps ensure financial transactions, inventory records, and administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently across multiple service areas.
The successful candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with vendors, campus partners, and departmental staff. This role supports the efficient delivery of services by maintaining reliable business processes, accurate records, and strong operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous accounts payable experience, preferably in a retail environment
Inventory Management, including cycle counts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Administrative Support experience

Logistics and Support Services (LSS) supports Iowa State University through a diverse portfolio of logistics, supply, distribution, and asset management services. Logistics and Support Services (LSS) includes Central Stores, Material Stores, Chemistry Stores, Central Receiving, Surplus, Postal and Parcel Services, Moving Services, Warehousing, and Lost and Found. Together, these units provide essential logistics, distribution, inventory, and asset management services that support Iowa State University's teaching, research, and outreach mission.
