Join Ashtead Technology in the role of Business Administrator, located at our Turriff Facility where you will support a wide range of business activities and contribute to delivering a top class-customer experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Prepare and compile Technical Construction Files (TCFs) and hire asset certification packages, ensuring all documentation meets internal standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage and maintain equipment certification records, ensuring documents for items such as umbilicals, slings, shackles and wire ropes are received, tracked and correctly filed.
• Maintain and update manufacturing parts lists and project documentation, including certification numbers, heat numbers and electronic project files.
• Provide administrative support to Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers, assisting with the input, organisation and maintenance of project data.
• Support departmental and project meetings, including preparing documentation, recording minutes and distributing actions.
• Provide general administrative support across the department, assisting with ad-hoc tasks, supporting Business Modern Apprentices and participating in the reception rota when required
  

What experience you'll bring:

• Previous experience in an administrative role within an engineering, technical, or project based environment.
• Strong organisational and document management skills with ability to manage and maintain structured electronic filing systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and coordination skills when working with multiple departments.
• Experience supporting engineering projects or asset-based operations and managing technical certification or compliance documentation.
• Familiarity with project management or asset management systems.
