
The Installed Base Extension (IBE) department in Veldhoven helps extend the lifetime and value of ASML systems through refurbishment, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives. A key focus within the department is driving cost optimization and quality improvement, ensuring sustainable business performance while delivering value to customers and stakeholders. As part of a newly set up and growing team, you will contribute to strategic programs that improve operational efficiency, quality, and cost performance across the organization.

During this internship, you will support strategic improvement programs that focus on operational excellence, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. You will work closely with program managers and contribute to projects with visibility across multiple functions. This internship combines data analysis, stakeholder management, and process improvement in an international high-tech environment.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Analyze business data and translate findings into actionable insights
Create performance reports, dashboards, and management presentations
Monitor program progress, milestones, risks, and improvement opportunities
Support cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives
Maintain project plans and help create transparency across workstreams
Facilitate communication between stakeholders from different departments
Identifyand recommend process improvements that enhance business performance
This is a bachelor’s or master’s internshipfor a minimum of 6 months, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week(3 days on-site during the first month, thereafter hybrid working in consultation).The start date of this internship is January/February 2027 (January preferred).
Your Profile
To be suitable for this internship, you:
Are pursuing a bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Technology Management, Economics, or a related field
Have strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data to support decision-making
Are proactive and comfortable taking ownership in an evolving environment
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Communicate effectively with stakeholders from different disciplines and backgrounds
Have experience with theMicrosoft Office package (PowerPoint & Excel) ; experience with business intelligence tools such asPower BI is a plus
