Job Description

Introduction

The RISE (Repair Improvements and Stagnation Expertise) team safeguards the smooth flow of materials across ASML’s inbound and repair processes. The team focuses on preventing and resolving supply chain disruptions, improving warehouse stability, and strengthening collaboration with suppliers. You will help with day to day operations, and with refining the team’s structure and ways of working to increase efficiency. This will allow you to gather insights from recurring issues, and support the development of long‑term solutions. You will also provide a fresh, external perspective on the team’s current setup and help identify opportunities to improve its organization and workflow.

  • Participate in daily operational activities to understand process dependencies.

  • Identify recurring disruption patterns and group them into clear cause categories.

  • Support structural problem‑solving by helping uncover root causes.

  • Contribute to designing sustainable solutions for frequently occurring issues.

  • Assist in coordinating stakeholders across supply chain and warehouse processes.

  • Maintain and improve data accuracy to support end‑to‑end visibility.

  • Give recommendations on how the team’s structure and workflow can become more effective.

This is a bachelor's or master's internship (non‑thesis) for minimum 5 months, 32–40 hours per week (3–4 days on‑site). The start date of this internship projected at the end of August 2026.

About ASML

Who are we?

ASML is an innovation leader in the global semiconductor industry. We make machines that chipmakers use to mass produce microchips. Founded in 1984 in the Netherlands with just a handful of employees, we’ve now grown to over 40,000 employees, 143 nationalities and more than 60 locations around the world.

What do we do?

We provide chipmakers with hardware, software and services to mass produce patterns on silicon through lithography.
