About the Role
We are a growing restaurant group looking for a 20 hour per week, part-time Business Administrator to join our Restaurant Support Office team. This person should be highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and have a "no job is unimportant or too small" attitude. This is an hourly position to start, with opportunities for growth and development.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys bringing order to moving pieces, solving problems, and making sure important tasks don't fall through the cracks. One minute you may be working through business license renewals and permit requirements, and the next you may be requesting a W-9 for a new vendor, approving invoices, building an Excel tracker, or helping tackle an unexpected operational project.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, as well as collaborating together, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and knows how to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is both task-oriented and flexible—someone who can stay focused on deadlines while quickly adjusting when the day takes an unexpected turn.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Restaurant Support / Business Administration / Office Operations
- Assist with supporting our teams by responding to email inquiries from management and team members.
- Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Communication with vendors to resolve discrepancies and account issues.
- Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, reports, and other organizational tools.
- Assist with a variety of administrative and operational projects, including the Urban Egg Anniversary Program.
- Help develop and improve processes to keep the Business Office organized and efficient.
- Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up on outstanding tasks.
- Work collaboratively with restaurant operations, leadership, vendors, government agencies, and other external partners.
- Jump in and assist with new projects and priorities as business needs change.
Business Licensing & Compliance
- Manage and maintain business licenses, permits, registrations, and related renewals.
- Track expiration dates and renewal deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
- Communicate with local, state, and other regulatory agencies as needed.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to licenses, permits, and business registrations.
- Assist with licensing and permitting requirements for new restaurant locations, relocations, remodels, and other business changes.
- Research requirements and follow processes across multiple states and jurisdictions.

Paid Sick Leave (Colorado)
Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Urban Egg provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Technology Skills

Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative, business operations, payroll, compliance, licensing, and similar roles.
- Experience supporting multiple locations or working in a multi-unit business environment is a plus.
- Restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-location business experience is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant professional experience preferred.
