The Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) is looking for passionate bushwalking guides to join our brand-new Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa Signature Walk, launching in April 2026 season.

The Tasmanian Walking Company (TWC) have been walking for over 30 years, offering amazing wilderness experiences to our guests in some of Australia’s most special and remote wilderness locations. We work to deliver a truly immersive experience as we create connections between people and place in remote cultural landscapes through our thoughtfully designed multi-day walking experiences.

TWC Guides provide an outstanding experience that guests will remember for a lifetime – the walks we offer are an opportunity for guests to step out of everyday life and into wilderness areas that are one of a kind.
This role suits someone who is adaptable, calm under pressure, curious about the natural world, and excited to work in remote environments.

We follow best practice track guidelines on our walks. We follow designated trails and remove all waste from our huts, camps and lodge and recycle wherever possible. We ensure our guidelines are up-to-date by working closely with the Tasmanian National Parks and Wildlife Service.

Most recently, We are very proud to have taken out gold at the 2022 Tasmanian Tourism Awards in the Ecotourism category, as well as being a finalist for the Chair of Judges' Award for Positive Impact Tourism.
