
Conservation and Ecosystem Management Traineeships

About the opportunity:
The Bush Regenerator Traineeships are focused on developing vocational and employability skills for long term unemployed and disadvantaged job seekers and providing them with a pathway to employment. Trainees will be employed full-time for a minimum duration of 18 weeks and a maximum duration of 26 weeks. They will work towards earning a Certificate I level qualification in Conservation and Ecosystem Management and gain practical experience in real work situations that align with their training. During their traineeship they will receive a mix of career advice, job preparation skills and foundation skills. The SQW Conservation and Ecosystem Management Trainee is responsible for undertaking accredited training and natural resource management (NRM) activities, including bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation, landscaping, nursery and light construction activities.
