Job Description

Description: Substitute Bus Operators are required to be on available to work at all locations/areas in Wyoming County, as needed.

Job Summary:

1. Person employed to operate school buses and other school transportation vehicles as provided by the State Board of Education
2. Perform any other duties assigned by the Transportation Director and/or Superintendent of Schools
3. Will drive/ride bus each day 4. Must report/drive when dispatched by the Transportation Director or designee, as the bus run location will vary, dependent upon daily need 5. Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Safety and Transportation and/or Superintendent of Schools

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Must be at least 21 years old
3. Must have current CDL, or be willing to obtain one
4. Must complete bus operator training provided by the Wyoming County Board of Education, Transportation Department, as required by the West Virginia Department of Education
5. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
