We are actively seeking a an enthusiastic, caring, and dependable part-time Bus Driver and After Care Teacher to join our Clarkston team. In this role you will provide a safe welcoming classroom for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade who attend Heartfelt after their elementary school day. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, fosters positive relationships and creates fun, enriching experiences that encourage learning, creativity, and social development during after school hours.

Status: Regular, part-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-6pm
Hourly rate: Starting at $15, $18/hour while driving the 14-passenger bus. Teacher rate is dependent on years of experience and credentials.
Location: On site Clarkston, MI
Requirements
Essential functions:
· Communicates openly with both parents and staff
· Provides active supervision at all times
· Activity planning (indoor and outdoor)
· Helping children with homework assignments, conflict resolution and other classroom interactions
· Feeding the children their afternoon snack
· Building respectful relationships in the classroom
· Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures

The story of Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center began long before the first center’s opening in August 2011. Owners Rhonda Meyers and Amy Maxwell have been in the field of Early Childhood a combined 40 years! Both have Masters Degrees in Education and have been working as a team for more than 17 years. As their own families grew, so did their school family and now all are under one warm roof at Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center. With a commitment to providing high quality early education, Amy and Rhonda have raised their own children right along with the families they serve. As one pleased parent remarked, “When you’re at Heartfelt, you’re at home.”
