Job Category: TransportationSUMMARY
The Bus Driver is responsible for safe transportation of passengers to and from the casino, as well as minor maintenance of the bus and communication of property services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive passengers to scheduled destinations following the assigned timetable.
- Complete a daily vehicle inspection of the bus according to vehicle checklist before departure.
- Comply with all traffic regulations while maintaining safety and order on vehicles.
- Communicate with passengers, all casino services and provide great guest service.
- Keep mirrors, windows clean, sweep out bus.
- Fuel the bus and remove all debris at the end of each shift.
- Report any vehicle needs or problems to the Transportation Supervisor.
- Must attend and be certified in all applicable training required.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.

QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have excellent interpersonal and guest service skills.
- Minimum Age Requirement is 21.
- Must possess the following.
- - Valid California Commercial Driver License.
- - Passenger Endorsement.
- - Air Brake endorsement a plus but not required; and
- - Must be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
- Must have experience driving a commercial vehicle.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have a current first aid and CPR certificate or attain within 30 days of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to sit for long periods.
- Required to constantly reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Required repeatedly to ascend or descend stairs, ladders, or ramps.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Exposed to loud noises while performing job duties.
- Exposed to cigarette smoke, bells, ringing, and flashing lights when on the casino floor.
- Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
