At Happitat, we're on the hunt for a fun, energetic and experienced driver that will provide safe and timely passenger transport between the parking lot and the Adventure Park (12 kilometres each way). Adhere to traffic laws, maintain vehicle safety, perform pre-trip inspections, and assist passengers. Key responsibilities also include checking tickets, providing customer service and information, managing the interior environment for passenger comfort, and communicating with the team on site.

You are integral in facilitating Happitat’s vision to bridge nature and community by contributing to our commitment to an immersive, nature-centric adventure experience for our guests. In your daily operations, you will ensure that the vision and values of the company are reflected.

You will act as an ambassador of Happitat Adventure Park’s commitment to quality and sustainability. Your role will require a positive and vibrant energy to maintain the operation and high level of aesthetic appeal across the expansive grounds of our unique adventure park, ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our team and customers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 24-seater bus on a pre-planned 12-kilometre route from Beechmont to Happitat Adventure Park at Binna Burra and back
• Meet and greet guests at designated pick-up and departure points
• Checking tickets and bookings
• Answering questions
• Deliver engaging, informative, and entertaining commentary to guests on the ride up and down the mountain.
• Represent our brand with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm
• Ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all guests
• Work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• Reflect the vision and values of the company
• Foster a positive and welcoming environment for guests
• Address customer complaints, resolve any issues promptly and professionally – elevate to Management as required
• Collaborate with all park teams to ensure a consistent and high-quality guest experience
• Report and vehicle issues or concerns to the maintenance team

• Requirements:

• Current MR Licence
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement
• Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bus driver or similar role
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
