About the Role
Brisbane City Council proudly operates one of Australia’s largest and most diverse bus networks. Our drivers play a vital role in keeping Brisbane connected, helping residents, commuters and visitors reach their destinations safely. This role offers independence on the road, supported by a welcoming and inclusive depot team, making it ideal for those who prefer not to work in an office environment and enjoy a change of scenery. You’ll be backed by our Network Coordination Centre and experienced teams across our seven depots: Carina, Garden City, Toowong, Sherwood, Willawong, Virginia and Eagle Farm.

We use an Expression of Interest process to build a pool of future drivers for regular upcoming intakes. You’ll create a profile and upload your resume. If you’re a suitable candidate, our team will contact you when the next intake begins.

ANSTO is one of Australia’s largest public research organisations and custodian of much of our country’s important science infrastructure, including the OPAL nuclear research reactor, the Australian Synchrotron, accelerators, cyclotrons and neutron beam instruments.

As part of enabling a strong national collaborative network, ANSTO is connected with all Australian and New Zealand universities through the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering (AINSE), providing researchers access to Australia’s nuclear science, technology and engineering expertise and landmark infrastructure.
On average, ANSTO accommodates over 1800 visiting researchers from other Australian and international research organisations each year.
