Job Description

Job Location: Douglas County North - Englewood, CO 80112
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Anticipated Start Date: February 2nd, 2026
Position Purpose
The Bus Driver works under the supervisor of the Director of Transportation and is responsible for safely transporting students from home-to-school and school-to-home and transporting students and staff on extracurricular field trips as requested.
Job Duties:
- Upholds CECs beliefs found on the CEC website.
- Transports students to and from the school and related activities safely and efficiently. Supervises loading and unloading of buses. Oversees simulated or actual emergency evacuations of school bus as required.
- Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required. Maintains accurate and up-to-date transportation paperwork.
- Maintains bus cleanliness and orderly appearance including washing vehicles on a regular basis and removing trash.
- Identifies and reports mechanical malfunctions to the Director of Transportation. Performs routine maintenance of the bus.
- Keeps current with Colorado Rules and Regulations Governing Operation of School Transportation Vehicles
- Ensures that all safety rules and regulations are followed.
- Successfully completes road skills test and written evaluations.
- Participates in professional development as requested by the Director of Transportation
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
- Colorado Commercial Drivers License with Class B CDL and Type BP2-S School Bus License required.
- Must qualify for Vehicle Operator License Insurance.
- Must pass DOT physical requirements.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
