We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Food Runner to join our restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that food is delivered quickly, efficiently, and accurately to guests. This position requires strong teamwork, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a fast-paced dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guest tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate, complete, and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Assist with food preparation and garnishing as needed.
• Set up and clean dining areas, ensuring they are organized and ready for service.
• Assist with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and maintaining the cleanliness of tables throughout the meal.
• Maintain awareness of guest needs, ensuring they have everything they require for a positive dining experience.
• Handle special requests, allergies, or dietary restrictions in accordance with the guest’s preferences.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking supplies and cleaning work areas.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to carry heavy trays or large orders of food and beverages (up to 25-30 lbs).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Capability to lift and carry trays, plates, and beverages safely.
