Are you great at coordinating a team, overseeing daily operations and providing critical feedback that ensures safe work practices and a job well done? We’re on the hunt for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Columbia Rentals team. Columbia Rentals owns and manages the broadest rental portfolio in Columbia, MO. We have brand-new homes, apartments of all kinds, town homes, duplexes, and mobile homes. We are looking for someone with experience in staff management, customer service, safety and compliance standards and who has a passion for property maintenance.

Pay: $60,000+ yearly, commensurate with experience plus bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior maintenance experience required.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, and other common property maintenance functions preferred.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance needs and manage competing deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while also effectively leading a team.
• Ability to use basic computer systems and maintenance/work-order software.
• Must have the knowledge and abilities necessary to complete the duties of the position.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred.

• Coordinate special projects as directed by the Director of Maintenance.
• Assist with monitoring all work orders assigned to the maintenance team.
• Assist the Director of Maintenance with property inspections, maintenance planning, budgeting, and capital improvement projects.
• Participate in meetings and training as required.
• Serve as a resource and leader for assigned maintenance employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
